“Show Stopper” Nominated by International Thriller Writers!

Imagine my surprise when I saw a tweet congratulating me on my nomination!

“Whut?”

It *was* April Fool’s Eve.  Was it a cruel prank or honest mistake?

But it turned out to be true. True! My short story “Show Stopper” (about killer Soviet fashion) which appeared in Mystery Writers of America Presents Ice Cold: Tales of Intrigue from the Cold War was nominated by International Thriller Writers for best short story:  http://thrillerwriters.org/programs/2015-thriller-awards/

Let me repeat—a nomination!!!  Unreal! And by a favorite writing organization–International Thriller Writers.

I’ve been pinching myself ever since. And I can’t wait to celebrate with fellow nominees at the gala awards ceremony at Thrillerfest in July in New York.
