Best anthology launch ever!

Just back from New York City which I visited for MWA Edgars’ week and the launch of Mystery Writers of America Presents Ice Cold: Tales of Intrigue from the Cold War at The Mysterious Bookshop.

Such an honor to have my short story “Show Stopper” about killer Soviet fashion to be included.

And best launch ever!

Foreground, right: Women in red with her back to the camera is me.

  • Met Otto Penzler, publisher and owner of the awesome The Mysterious Bookshop.
  • Met the anthology editors Raymond Benson and Jeffery Deaver.
  • Met my fellow anthologists for the first time in person.

Lower left: Me signing, frowning in great concentration with ink-stained right hand and broken left wrist in a brace.

Met fans. FANS! Great fans! Who came out to buy copies!

They’re going fast, but last time I checked there were still a few signed copies available directly from The Mysterious Bookshop.
