It’s free to all courtesy of AHMM and Dell Magazines. (Thanks guys!) I did the reading (my first!) at the Bouchercon 2013 Mystery Convention (not my first, my fourth) in Albany. The very faint background hum in the background is convention center and crowd noise from mystery enthusiasts.
The story is one of my favorites. It’s set in Prohibition Detroit and it concerns a gun moll’s missing purse which is a matter of life and death.
